Cheese Twists

Ingredients:

50g/20oz   Butter

150g/6oz    Rice Flour

100g/40oz Grated Parmesan

1                   Egg Yolk

2 tsp            Paprika

Directions:

Preheat oven to 180C/Fan 160C/350F/Gas 4 

Rub cut up softened pieces of butter into the flour, until it resembles breadcrumbs. Add the cheese & egg yolk and work until it forms a ball of dough

Leave to chill for 30 mins

Roll out dough between two sheets of cling film. Sprinkle with paprika and cut into 3 x 10mm strips. Twist each strip and transfer to a well oiled baking tray. Bake in preheated oven for 10-12 mins. These store well in a tin.
